Beauty Top 5 – Current Fave Eyeshadow Palettes! (Blogmas, day 20)

Hi my lovelies,

Welcome back to Blogmas! When I sat down to think up some posts for this month, I realised how long it’s been since I posted a Beauty Top 5! One of my favourite makeup items to buy (apart from lip products because seriously, I have a problem and probably need to seek therapy for my addiction) is eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes, and I thought today I’d share all of my current faves with you! Tell me what your faves are down in the comments please!

Now there are definitely a lot of warm, neutral shadows in here as they’re my favourites to wear, and neutrals are easiest to do on a daily basis – let’s see which palettes I’ve been using the most lately, shall we?

The 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag!

Hi my lovelies,

So today’s post is a little different, I’ve seen this tag a few times lately, and it sounded super fun to do, so I did! Basically it’s all about the seven deadly sins, and how they apply to us beauty bloggers! I’m tagging all of you guys in this tag, so I’d love to see all of your answers to these questions too!!

7 deadly sins tag

Onto the Questions!

greed

GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

Most Inexpensive – My 99p Essence Lip Liners! They’re so good and I can’t believe they’re so cheap!

Most expensive – Probably my Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette as far as makeup goes. Though I have a Clinique serum that is worth more than this (I got it free!) and my GHD’s which were many many pounds but well worth the investment!

The Lust List – August 2016!

Hi my lovelies,

I’m back with another list of my most lustworthy items this month, and there are definitely some amazing items in store for August that I’ve had my eye on! These are beauty products, makeup, fashion and just about anything that I’ve been lusting over for the last month!

LUSTLISTAUGUST.jpg

So what have I been lusting after this month?

  • Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

If you haven’t heard about this concealer in the last few weeks – what rock have you been living under? I have heard blogger after blogger rave about this concealer this month, it supposedly has smooth, high coverage without being drying or patchy. There have been mixed reviews about the blending sponge to go with this concealer, and this is only sold on QVC over here, with the sponge in question. Therefore, I may give it a go, but I’m definitely lusting over it!

Look Incredible Beauty Box – July 2016 Unboxing and Review!

Hi my lovelies,

Today’s post is going to be all about my Look Incredible beauty box for July! If you saw last month’s review you’ll know I was super impressed with Look Incredible’s June box, and while I’m a bit less thrilled about July’s box, I’m still pleased with the contents! Let’s get into this and have a look what’s in store for July!

If you  don’t know about Look Incredible, it’s a monthly beauty subscription service that for £18.99 (now plus £2.50 postage), promises to deliver you five full sized beauty products every month. They’ve had the likes of Tarte, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, Stila and Nars in previous boxes, and are pretty makeup heavy instead of more skincare items, so If you want to try some new makeup without paying the full price, this one is for you!

What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag? & Why I’ve Been Mysteriously Absent!

Hi My lovelies,

So you may have noticed it’s been over a week since my last post – not something I usually do! Did you guys miss me?

20160622_180907.jpg

Anyway, this post is so super late because I have had zero time to blog over the past week at all: I went away for the weekend on friday morning, got back late sunday night and then had a really important exam on wednesday morning. All that, coupled with the whole Brexit thing (I won’t get into that here, if you follow me on twitter I’ve voiced my opinions pretty strongly) has meant for the most busy week ever! But we’re here and I’m back with a brand new blog post.

I find it really hard to pack when I’m travelling, as I like the luxury of having loads of stuff to pick from when I’m at home, and makeup for me is especially hard to whittle down into just the essentials that I ‘need’ while I’m away. That being said, I probably did still take a lot of product with me, even though I was only away for just 3 days! I thought I’d use this post to show you what I brought with me!

The Lust List – June 2016!

Hi my lovelies,

So it’s another month and I have my list of the most lustworthy products I have has my eyes on again! It’s pretty long, so get yourselves a snack, settle in and let’s begin! I was all set to buy one of the Jeffree Star highlighters from my list last month, but they were so breakable that Cocktail Cosmetics (official UK stockist of Jeffree Star products) decided they were too fragile to ship :(. I did, however get a couple of his brand new liquid lipsticks, so look out for a post on those soon! Anyway, we have a whole new list of products to lust over, so here we go!

Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette and Lipsticks – First Impressions and Swatches!

Hi my lovelies,

Today is the day I have waited for ever since its announcement: The new Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette is mine! I was buzzing with excitement the night before this went on sale, and ordered it along with two of the lipsticks as soon as it was released! As you all may know, Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite things ever in the entire world, so I knew this had to be mine!

This post is going to be my first impressions and thoughts on the palette and lipsticks, and swatches of all of the shades!

The packaging is kaleidoscope inspired and super colourful which given the wacky and wonderful setting of the movie, I think it fits really well. There’s also a big theme of butterflies in this palette, as the caterpillar and metamorphosis is a big theme through the book and I hope the movie too!
