May Beauty Faves!

Hi my lovelies,

So yet another month has passed and we’re now heading toward summer! Again I’m actually on time with my faves post this month, so let’s have a look at all the nice things I’ve been loving for May! I’ve got lots of makeup faves, along with some beauty tools, skincare, body products and even haircare this month, so let’s get this show on the road!

  • Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Palette

It’ll be no surprise to any of you that this is in my faves this month! This palette, however cumbersome the packaging is, is beautiful, the shadows are super buttery and pigmented, and I love how there are so many versatile shades to use in here! For a full review with swatches, have a look here!

  • Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Shadow in On and On Bronze

I hauled this in a post earlier this month, and I think I’ve used this more than any other shadow lately! On and On Bronze is the most perfect bronzey metallic shade, and will look great on everyone! Quality wise, these Color Tattoo shadows are really pigmented, blendable and I can wear this all day without creasing! Perfect and I will definitely be buying more shades!

  • Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner

This has been my go-to eyeliner for a couple of months, and I only realised how much I’ve been using it when it came to writing this post! This is one of those felt tip style eyeliner pens, which makes it super easy to apply and get right in along my lash line. A friend of mine said this liner smudged on her, but I’ve never had that problem with this. It’s seriously black, and lasts all day without wearing away! I wouldn’t recommend this on rainy days as it did run a little when I was walking home in the rain, but every other time it’s been great!

  • Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I LOVE this mascara! And when I say love, I mean it. This little wonder has been SO good and I have used it so many times since I bought my Dandelion Wishes set last month. Roller Lash gives me lift, curl, definition and length, everything I want when I’m looking for a mascara. Well done to Benefit and I’ll definitely be buying the full sized mascara when I run out!

  • Sleek Solstice Highlight Palette

Oh look what’s made the list again this month! Seriously though, If you haven’t tried this highlighter, go grab it now because this palette has 4 shades in there and every one is beautiful! A lot of beauty Youtubers have just found out about this and are raving about it, but I’ve been using and loving this for ages now! For a full review including swatches, I did one here, but if you can get Sleek anywhere near you, go check it out!

  • Benefit Dandelion Powder

Another little lovely that was in the Dandelion Wishes set, I’ve been using this powder all month for a brightening, baby pink blush. As I have fair skin, this looks lovely without being too bold or getting washed out, and this will be another product I’ll buy the full size of when I run out. Right now though, it’s perfect for popping in my bag as it’s teeny and compact!

  • Original Beauty Blender

Okay, I literally do not know how I made it through life without one of these. I think the Beauty Blender has been a real game changer for me, especially in the way I put on and blend out concealer. I use this every single day to blend out my concealer and I also use this to put on foundation and setting powder too! While I do like the dupes for this (see my best beauty blender post here), this one is the original and the best for me!

  • Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish Cleanser

I feel like my skin has been stressed out and clogged up lately, so I went back to my old fave Liz Earle and this cleanser for something more soothing and natural to really cut back on the amount of product I’m sticking on my face every day. This clears out all the dirt and stubborn makeup, and leaves my skin feeling great. The only downside? I can never see when I’m running out!

  • Lush Mask of Magnaminty

Another product I think has really helped to calm my skin this month has been this minty face mask from Lush. I looooove Lush products, and this face mask is no different! This has ingredients in there to sooth and calm my skin down if I’m red or broken out, and really helps to clear out any oil I have built up in there. Love this and I can’t wait for my next Lush trip to try out some other masks!

  • Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Jelly

As you all might be aware, Soap & Glory’s Sugar Crush scent is my absolute favourite when it comes to well, anything really. The scent of sweet lime with vanilla can perk me up when I’m tired, or relax me when I’m feeling stressed. So when I saw on Instagram that they had released new shower jellies, I knew I had to have this! I have this in the original scent too, and I think these are a great summer addition to have in my shower as they’re super refreshing and not to thick or creamy which i love!

  • Philip Kingsley PK Prep Polishing balm

I always manage to find something that is perfection in my beauty boxes, and this month’s Birchbox had this little wonder to offer me. This polishing balm is supposed to smooth and de-frizz my hair and it does just that! It’s not greasy like a lot of anti frizz balms, and leaves my hair smoother, shinier and doesn’t weigh it down at all. It’s more expensive than what I usually buy, but this might just have to be on my shopping list soon!

Want to see what my favourites were last month?

Oh my god, it´s like you were in my head haha! I had the same thoughts when I bought my first beauty blender- “what I have been doing with my life and how I have been managing!” It is amazing little helper with makeup. I don´t know if I could live without it anymore 😀 Great post!

The Alice in Wonderland palette looks amazing!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

I have seen Sleek makeup around a lot, so would you say it's worth buying? Is there anything you don't like about that brand? I only want to buy that brand if I know I'll use it.
