Huge Colourpop Haul!

Hi my lovelies,

So you may have seen the news that Colourpop started shipping worldwide recently, and to me that meant I could finally put in an order from a brand that I’ve been lusting after for ages now! My order finally arrived, and so here are all the lovely goodies that I ordered! I decided to try out a bit of everything, so grab a cuppa, because this haul is massive! Also, how cute is this little handwritten thank you they sent in the box???

So what did I order?

  • Super Shock Blush in Prenup

This pretty mauvey pink blush is super pretty! It’s a satin finish and looks like it could be a beautiful day-to-day blush for me!

  • Super Shock Highlighter in Smoke ‘n Whistles

As a blogger, I’ve become highlight obsessed lately, and I knew I needed to try one from Colourpop! Smoke ‘n Whistles is a gorgeous champagne shade with a hint of pink, and I am in love already just from one swatch!

  • Super Shock Eyeshadow in Cornelius

I knew I needed to try out Colourpop’s shadows, but there were SO many shades to pick from, so for my first order I stuck to what I know I’ll use again and again – a nice matte brown shade! Cornelius is a lovely mid toned matte brown, perfect for the crease!

  • Super Shock Eyeshadow in Weenie

By a complete accident, both of the eyeshadows I picked out are part of Kathleen Lights (love her!) collab with Colourpop! Again I stuck to what I know I like with this one, and I loooove metallic neutrals! Weenie is a gorgeous pearly metallic copper toned shadow, and the pigment is insane on this one!

L-R: Prenup, Smoke ‘N Whistles, Cornelius, Weenie, Best O, Swerve, Bangin’ Brunette

  • Creme Gel Liner in Swerve
  • Creme Gel Liner in Best O

I picked up two eyeliners –  Originally I was only going to buy Swerve, as a girl can never have enough black eyeliners, but after I saw the shade Best O I knew I had to get that one too! Best O is a beautiful deepened brown/burgundy and looks super warm and a shade that I don’t really see on the regular so it had to be mine! On first swatch, these seem a little bit crumblier than I’m used to, but I’ll keep at it!

  • Brow Pencil in Bangin’ Brunette

This was a pleasant surprise, as it seems to be the exact colour of my brows (yay!)! I love little fine brow pencils like this because they allow me to be really precise, and It’s always great when they add a little spoolie on the end like this one does! It’ll have to do a lot to replace my beloved NYX pencil, but I can’t wait to try it out!

  • Ultra Matte Lip in Clueless
  • Ultra Matte Lip in Lumiere 2

At first glance these two look like exactly the same shade, but I did my homework before this order, and they’re actually quite different and you can see that on the swatches. Clueless is a lot more pink and rosy, whereas Lumiere is a lot more of a purple-y mauve shade and more cool toned! Both beautiful though!

  • Ultra Satin Lip in Dopey
  • Ultra Satin Lip in Molly

Top to bottom: Clueless, Lumiere 2, Molly, Dopey, Back Up, Rocket

I really wanted to see what the difference in formulas were between the ultra satin and
ultra matte lips, and so I wanted to get a shade that was quite similar in shade to see how they both wore. Dopey is a little bit similar to Clueless in that cool toned dusty rose shade, so I’m definitely going to wear and compare the two! I also chose Molly, which is much more purple, and I love me a purple lipstick! I’ve been trying to find one similar to my lipstick from Makeup Revolution, but without the crumbliness when it wears away – so Molly is hopefully a dupe! (P.S. is it still called a dupe if the original is around the same price/cheaper?)

  • Lippie Stix in Rocket
  • Lippie Stix in Back Up

Last but not least, two of Colourpop’s OG – the Lippie Stix! I picked up Back Up (another purple shade yay!) in their Matte X formula, which is their newer, super matte long wear formula which I have heard great things about! I also bought Rocket, which is a little bit out of my comfort zone in shade, but I felt I needed to branch out a little bit on the shades I was trying out. Rocket is a bright coral pink in a cream formula, which is perfect for summer (yet really bright!), and I’m definitely going to give this a real test out because the formula feels really nice!

So that was my big Colourpop haul! The blush, highlighter and shadows are in a really unique cream to powder formula that I don’t see around often, and I really like the texture of them! I’m loving the shades of lipstick I bought and can’t wait to give them a proper go!

What do you guys think of my haul and is there anything in here you want to see a full review of? Have you tried any of these before and do you have any recommendations for me if (when) I order again? What are your favourite Colourpop products or other affordable brands I should try out? I’ll check in after a couple of weeks with my thoughts on all of these so look forward to that one!

I love kathleen! It was a coincidence that I picked both shadows from her collection, I just had to have weenie – it’s gorgeous! And cornelious is a great matte shade too! It’s a huge shipping/import cost but hopefully worth it! Xo
