Review: Love Me Beauty Subscription!

Hi my lovelies,

So today I’m going to be sharing my newfound love (ha) for Love Me Beauty! I’ve been quietly getting this subscription since September, and I’ve had three boxes (bags?) so far.

I have to say that I love the ‘choosing your own products’ element of this subscription, and the fact that they feature different brands every month so that we can discover new brands and products we won’t have used before, along with some already established beauty faves if we need extras. The element of surprise that comes with a subscription box is gone, but being able to choose what’s in your bag every month is a really great idea, as you know you’re going to get the products you pick out and no be disappointed in anything you receive.

This month: Full sized Ecotools brushes, brush cleansing cloths and a gorgeously scented Caudalie hand cream!

Love Me Beauty costs £10 per month with £3.95 postage on top, to a total of £13.95; but you’re definitely getting your money’s worth out of the subscription. It works on a points system, where you get 60 credits to spend on items in the edit every month, with optional add on credits available to buy if you want more products. Products normally are between 5 and 20 credits, depending on the brand, cost of the product, or whether they’re full sized or deluxe samples.

September featured Kat Von D and I’m definitely in love with the lippies!

You’re asked to fill in a questionnaire when you sign up, and LMB make recommendations on what you’d love most, but ultimately the choice is up to you! (Which means hurrah no more tanning products or teeny sample sizes like some other boxes I won’t mention) There are also cute tutorials on the site on how to use your new goodies, which I love!

Did I mention these also come in cute little makeup bags that are perfect for storing bits and bobs or for travelling with? I keep one in my handbag all the time to put stray products in that I’ve managed to collect in my bag over the week and these bags are ideal!

As you can see on the pics, these bags are great value for money, and I’ve been loving the products I got (especially the Kat Von D!) You can sign up HERE and if you use the code JESS23199271  when you sign up you’ll get 30 (£21 worth) extra credits to spend in the store which can be used at any time, not just on your first box!

October’s MUFE goodies! I also got a Nuxe body scrub in October’s bag – it’s all used up so I can’t photograph it!

So what do you guys think? Are you considering signing up (or signed up already – and what did you choose from the Edit this month? How do you think this compares with other beauty subscriptions? Next month’s Birchbox is going to be my last (at least for now), and I’ll be switching over to Love Me Beauty as I’m definitely loving choosing my own products! – Let me know if you guys want a Love Me Beauty post monthly instead of my Birchbox one, I’d love to share what I pick with you lovelies!

I love the concept of being able to choose your products ! I’ve always been reluctant about beauty boxes because I don’t like the idea of paying for something I might not like. But this one sounds perfect ! x

Hmm, I hadn’t heard of Love Me Beauty til now but I’m definitely going to have a look at the site! I got bored of Birchbox and all the samples I wasn’t interested in, Latest in Beauty collaboration boxes are good but the selection for the make your own boxes is rubbish, Glossybox never had any brands I was interested in and Cohorted was overpriced. I’ve done the leg work when it comes to beauty boxes! Love Me Beauty could be my next! Great post!

I’d definitely give it a go! I’m cancelling my birchbox because it’s just a little underwhelming every month, and getting this instead. I like my Look Incredible one too – it can be a little hit and miss at times, but when it’s good, it’s gooooood xo
