Hi my lovelies,
Another advent unboxing, has it been three days already?? First of all I want to apologise for the lack of Blogmas posting yesterday – I had planned on it being my Look Incredible box unboxing but as I’m writing this post it hasn’t arrived yet so that one will be a little later in the month, and I’m that busy I didn’t have anything else prepared to post in its place! So let’s just forgive my infraction (I’m sure Santa will allow it) and carry on with today’s post as planned – on to the Advent Unboxing!
So I’m sure by now you all know the drill with this – I’m unboxing my Selfridges Beauty advent calendar every three days for you guys, and keeping you updated with the goodies I have so far! If you haven’t yet, you can see my previous unboxings for Days 1,2&3 Here, 4,5&6 Here and 7,8&9 Here.
So what were in windows 10,11 and 12?
Day 10: Lancome Hypnose Volume-a-Porter mascara
Apart from the wand style, I’m not 100% sure what differences this has from the regular Hypnose mascara that I got a few days back – maybe I need to do some more research! This one has a synthetic rubberized wand instead of a fibre one. I don’t think I’ll actually have to purchase a mascara for quite a while as I have some stocked up to use now but I keep reaching for my Benefit Roller Lash almost every day! I’m definitely going to make a real attempt to use these up soon! They’ll work perfectly for on holiday as they’re super travel friendly.
Day 11: Lancome Energie De Vie
This is essentially a liquid moisturiser (even though it looks like a serum) and is inspired by Korean beauty techniques to hydrate and smoothe skin and give it that much sought after glow that makes skin look refreshed! It’s something I’ve never tried before and looks really interesting to test out – especially as my sensitive combi skin goes through a tough time during winter!
Day 12: Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate
Man this stuff is expensive! I always make sure to google my advent goodies to see what they’re about and what they claim to do (especially if if’s skincare)and of course, the prices! This is a whopping £59 for just 30ml so this serum had better do wonders for my skin! It’s supposed to renew and refresh skin, make it glowy and radiant, reduce texture, increase skin elasticity and firmness and tackle any wrinkles! That’s a lot of things for such a small bottle! Luckily I don’t have wrinkles yet, but it never hurts to start early, right?
Three Lancome products this time around, I’ll admit I was hoping for a little more variety but I’m not about to complain as Lancome is such a pricey brand! Have any of you used these before – if you have let me know what you think of them and if they’re worth the high price tag for you! I have to admit I’m loving the Kiehls Midight Recovery oil – my skin looks and feels so much better in the morning! Hopefully these Lancome products will help too – I definitely won’t be running out of skincare for a while!
As always, please let me know what you think in the comments and anything you want to see from my blog because I really love you guy’s input.
