Look Incredible Beauty Box – November 2016!

Hi my lovelies,

Today’s post is all about my Look Incredible box for November. I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and tried everything out, so there’s mini reviews of the products in here too! I missed October’s box review, but last month was nothing to shout about really. So straight on to November’s review which is a lot more pleasing to me!

First up, If you  don’t know about Look Incredible, it’s a monthly beauty subscription service that for £18.99 (now plus £2.50 postage), promises to deliver you five full sized beauty products every month. They’ve had the likes of Tarte, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, Stila and Nars in previous boxes, and are pretty makeup heavy instead of more skincare items, so If you want to try some new makeup without paying the full price, this one is for you!

What’s in the box for November?

  • Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment – RRP £19

20161127_232244

I’ve seen these floating around facebook and they seemed really interesting, but shelling out £19 for a lip balm when i have lots was something I wasn’t prepared to do. So this is a much welcomed item in my box this month! It really does moisturise my lips really well, and has become my staple before bed lip balm over the last couple of weeks. It’s also full of loads of good stuff like antioxidants and SPF! Definitely going in my holiday travel bag!

  • Lord & Berry Lipstick Crayon  – RRP £10

20161127_2325310

I’ve had a lipstick pencil from Lord & Berry before in a Birchbox, so I was happy to receive this as I loved that! While a little darker than I normally go, this is a lovely vampy shade for winter, and it lasts quite well on me. I don’t have a lot of lipsticks this colour, so I’ll be bringing this out a lot, I think! I just wish I had it last month for Halloween. I can’t seem to work out the shade on this though (20100?) any ideas?

  • No.7 Lift & Luminate Day and Night Serum – RRP £14.99

20161127_2324370

No.7 is a staple brand on the British high street, but I’ve never actually tried any of their skincare before as I’ve been really wary in the past about breakouts and reactions. Regardless, I’m looking forward to trying these out properly (I’ve only used them once so far to make sure I didn’t react). I love how there’s a separate day and night serum, and anything that promises to illuminate my skin is a good one by me! I’m still using my trusty Clinique Turnaround serum at the moment, but I’m definitely giving these a go once I run out!

  • Spa Retreats Indulgence Body Cream – RRP £16

First off, can I just say this smells super luxurious? I love that sort of rosy, turkish delight type scent (although I hate turkish delight, the irony) – it sort of brings back a little nostalgia about my great grandma and this rose hand cream she always used. This is definitely the biggest item in the box, and at 350ml, really good value for money I reckon. This moisturising cream is silky without being greasy, and absorbs really nicely. You only need to use a little though, so this big tub will last me a while!

  • Korres Colour Sunflower & Primrose Eyshadow in Bronze Brown – RRP£10

20161127_232619

I was a little wary about using this, as I’ve had adverse reactions to Korres products before, but this is actually quite nice! The shadow I got is Bronze Brown which is, as the name says, a nice bronzey brown shade. It lasts quite a while before creasing, is nicely pigmented, and doesn’t have much powder kickoff when you use it, which I like. The only downside is that I have a lot of shades like this that I love,  especially ones in palettes, so I haven’t been reaching for this much. Maybe it’s time to depot my single shadows into a Z Palette to get more use out of them?

Total Value of November’s Box – £69.99

So that’s my Look Incredible box for November – what do you guys think of this month’s offering? I still think for the price (£18.99 per month plus postage) I’m definitely getting value for my money! I love the lip balm and the body cream the most this month, and I’ll use everything in this box regularly which is something I’m really pleased about. I do need to start depotting my single shadows soon though to use them more as I tend to reach for a palette.

If you get this box and got the same products/shades or different ones, please let me know what you thought in the comments, also if anyone has any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
