Hi My lovelies,
First off, I want to say sorry (again, I can’t help it, I’m English) for being less active lately. I’m still incredibly busy and have little to no time to blog, even though I have so many post ideas floating around my head! I work full time, and I have my final end of course project (it’s taken three years to get here, but hopefully I’m almost done) taking up what little time I normally use to write up my blog posts. That being said, it wouldn’t be the first of the month without my Birchbox preview post, would it?? I’m definitely going to try and be more present, and I’m going to attempt blogmas this year – 25 posts in the first 25 days of December – do you guys think I can do it?! Anyway, onto the box!
November’s box (November already, wow!) theme is Shake Your Tail Feather, and the box is adorably peacock designed! It’s curated this month by Tatler magazine, which if I’m honest is a little too middle class for me to read, but they have definitely put together an amazing line up for the boxes this month. Non subscribers, this may be your month to join, as I am super excited for my November box to arrive. I’m still debating on whether to cancel my boxes after Christmas, depending on finances and enjoyment factors (possibly in favour of Love Me Beauty), but I’m definitely looking forward for this one!!
For those of you who don’t know about Birchbox, it’s a beauty subscription service that sends around 5 beauty products (including makeup, skincare and haircare) to your door each month. Sometimes there is also a beauty bonus included, such as January’s #nofilter compact mirror! It costs £10 plus £2.95 postage, and in my opinion is well worth it so far as I’ve found products that I really love (Spectrum makeup brushes, anybody?)!
Birchbox also now ships to Ireland, so all you Irish lovelies can now get your hands on this little box of wonders too!
What goodies could be in your box this month?
Birchbox is promising two makeup items in everyone’s box this month, which is great! I mean who doesn’t want more makeup? Everyone’s box will include the OCC Lip Tar Lip Primer this month – a brand that I haven’t used before, but I’ve heard great things about! I’m also really intrigued by the premise of a lip primer, because if it means less lipstick reapplication, that’s a good thing with me!
We’ll also all be getting this Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse in November’s box, which is a nourishing moisturising cream, perfect for those dry, cold winter days we’re heading towards!
Other goodies this month could include:
- Amika – Perk Up Dry Shampoo
- Darphin – Lumiere Essentielle Serum
- BBrowbar – Brow Pencil
- Wet Brush – Midi Wet Brush
- Beauty Protector – Protect & Blonde Toning Shampoo
- Marcelle – Golden Glow BB Cream Illuminator
- Darphine – Rose Aromatic Care Oil
- Khairpep – Transforme Hair Masque
- Ecotools – Blending and Bronzing Brush
- High Definition – Brow Definer
Please bear in mind that you may get some of these products, you may get some completely different things too! It all depends on your beauty profile, as Birchbox tailor your box to fit your needs! I.E they probably won’t send anti ageing products to a 16 year old!
Interested in Birchbox? Have a look at what was in September’s Box, August’s Box, July’s Box, or just sign straight up HERE! Following that link will give you £5 worth of points to spend in the Birchbox shop, and they have fab brands like Beauty Blender The Balm, Laura Mercier and Benefit to pick from! You can also get 50% off your first box if you’re a student registered with Unidays! Using code BLINK will bag you a free BBrowbar mascara with your order – worth £18!
So that’s November’s Birchbox sneak peek! I’m thinking this month will definitely be a good box – there are lots of products here I’d be super happy to receive! I’m really intrigued by the lip primer, and would love to see the Ecotools brush or Wet brush in my box this month! Here’s hoping! If you subscribe, what are you looking forward to?
