Ah December, the month of Christmas and time for family. Also, time to party! And as always, a great time for discovering new beauty treasures!
I’ve compiled my favourite products this month and am so pleased to share them with you all! Let’s get started, shall we?
There is a video to accompany this post, and you can find it here!
- Clinique Pretty Easy Eye Palette – £35 from any Clinique counter.
This palette is gorgeous, with eight great shades of eyeshadow, and two of clinique’s “Skinny Stick” eyeliners in a smaller size. Clinique are a brand that I use a lot, and this is a great set (although it is a gift I may be buying one for myself!) The shadows range from a very light neutral colour, to a deep, smoky brown, to a shimmery silver, and the eyeliners come in black and brown. A fab gift for makeup lovers!
- Clinique Pretty easy eyeliner pens – £17 each at Clinique counters
These pens (shown in the larger pic at the top) are fab, with a fibre brush nib instead of a felt tip-like nib allowing for greater versatility of use. These come in two colours, black and brown, and I bought both. These pens have great lasting power and are, as the name says, pretty easy to use.
- Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Hawaiian Smoulder – £9
With it’s lovely bright pink colour and creamy texture, this crayon is a dream! It’s a fab little lippy for a great price. Burt’s Bees are all natural, so you don’t have to worry about any hidden nasties either! I love bright lipsticks, and this one does not disappoint!
- Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub -£5.95 at Lush
Great for winter, this little lip scrub does a really good job at scrubbing away all of that dry, dead skin off your lips from the winter weather, and it tastes and smells fantastic to boot.
- Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser – Full size £14, Birchbox Shop.
I’ve been using this at night to take off all the dirt and grime of the day, and it does a great job! With it’s natural ingredients, this cleanser gently exfoliates your skin to leave it feeling refreshed and buttery soft! It’s an award winner, and I’m really grateful to have received it in my Birchbox this month!
- Clinique blended face powder in Transparency 2 -£23.50
This comes with a cute little brush to apply the powder with (not pictured) and gives great light coverage for times when we don’t want to be putting on a full face of makeup. I’ve been using it for this, and also as a setting powder to make sure my makeup stays where it is supposed to be! Really versatile, and I would recommend to anyone!
- Maybelline Colour Show nail polishes in Golden Sand and Red Reaction, and Rimmel glitter nail polish in Diamond Dust – Boots (Prices may vary)
Fab for party season, these polishes will give you everything you need for some fantastic party nails. I just love these shimmery, glittery tones! The Rimmel polish should be worn with a top coat to prevent chipping, but the other two are fine on their own, I wore the leftmost one to my work christmas party and it went over very well!
I hope you’ve all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed making it! Have any questions or things to add? Post them in the comments please!
See you next time,
